“I had decided that, for my wedding, I really wanted to get hair extensions to give me the ‘perfect look’… but I wanted to make sure that I had done my homework first to avoid any disasters! I first started by looking into the various product options (pre-bonded, clip-in, synthetic, human hair, etc.) and had determined unequivocally that I wanted to have Great Lengths extensions. It is true that it is not the most inexpensive option available – not by any means – but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for! They look great when you have them in (cannot tell they are there!), they feel great (high-quality human hair) and they have tons of colour options so you can be sure to get a great colour match. Not to mention, the bonds are very kind to your hair so you will not damage your natural hair. This was of critical importance to me! So that brought me to my next major decision: finding the right person to put them in. I am originally from Canada so I went to a few salons there for consultations before doing a scan in London. I came across Caroline’s website and was immediately impressed by the amount of experience she had and her obvious passion for what she does. Once I went for the consultation, that was it – I did not need to look elsewhere. She talked me through the whole process (what to expect before, during and after), she took her time to carefully colour-match with the samples, she answered all of my questions with absolutely honesty (hard to find!!!), and she made me feel absolutely confident in her abilities. About 3 weeks later I returned to Caroline’s to have my extensions put in and have had them in for about 2 months now. They look and feel as great as they did the day she put them in!! I cannot thank Caroline enough for the work she did. Not only did she make my hair amazing for my wedding day, but I am still enjoying them and getting compliments on my hair constantly. “Being of African descent, I have always had weaves put in my hair and this is quite uncomfortable, very difficult to clean, results in hair loss and styling is usually non-versatile so I decided to look for something out there that is easier to manage.

 I heard about fusion bonding on a US program on TV and I decided to research it and believe me, I came across all sorts on the internet ….from hairdressers and salons offering real human hair extensions for £99 to the really ridiculous of £2,000.

 I came across great lengths extensions in London on the internet and decided to search for salons or hairdressers that offered the service and then I came across Caroline’s website. I called Caroline and we arranged a consultation and for some reason I felt really comfortable with her as she explained the whole process from suitable colours to care and maintenance etc. and I knew I could trust her (call it my sixth sense…..).

 I decided to go ahead and have it done “and my o my”, it is the most wonderful invention since sliced bread…lol….. I really love the feel and texture of the hair, it is so easy to wash and care for and at the same time I get to take care of my natural hair as I would if I didn’t have the extensions. I have no weaves in my head tugging at the roots of my hair hence no hair loss and it gives me more versatility in terms of styling. Most of all I have been getting lots of compliments from guys because I really look pretty and natural and I can only thank Caroline for making me comfortable enough to do this.

 It is not cheap I must tell you but if you love your hair and want to look your best, it is well worth it.
